Destination

I go,
To the same place,
Where I've always been.
Where I've never been;
Where I will always go.

I go,
Where I should go,
and where I'm not allowed.
Where I am expected,
and, simultaneously, am never to be seen.

I go,
To a new place,
known by an old name.
Familiar, yet, fresh and inviting.
A place that holds new promise;
Promise of possibilities as yet unthought of.

I go,
To the same place
Always the new place,
Always strange,
Always the same.

Cabo

We just got back from a week in Cabo. I posted some selected photos of our trip here. Some of them are real snapshotty and some are more artistic.
We spent a lot of time hanging out in Cabo San Lucas at some of our favorite spots (Cabo Coffee Company, Taco Loco, Barometro, etc) and got to try a couple of new places like Hemmingway's Cigar and Mojito Bar (great Mojitos, walk in humidor, amazing tequilas... surprisingly, no cuban sammich).

It was a really nice trip and a great chance to get away from all the pressures of our everyday lives.
